The Airport Authority Hong Kong has launched a new Refund Application Platform for the air passenger departure tax (APDT) starting from 1 October 2025. Eligible passengers who have paid the APDT at the time of purchasing the air tickets may easily apply for tax refunds by simply uploading supporting documents to the platform. エドワード様式のウェスタンマーケットは、1991年にリニューアルされ、ショッピングモールに生まれ変わりました。美術工芸品を扱う店や、元は中環の古い路地にあった布地店が並んでいます。1906年に完成した赤レンガ造りの印象的な建物は、入口に見事な花崗岩のアーチが掲げられ、レンガに「包帯を巻いたような」デザインが魅力的です。実際には、この建物は19世紀から操業していた大型の複合マーケットの北側に増築されたものです。かつてその場所には港湾局のオフィスがありましたが、業務量の増加に伴い中環の大きな建物に移転したため、その跡地に建てられました。
