It is recommended to travel by MTR to access the parade route along Canton Road, Haiphong Road and Nathan Road. Please disembark at Tsim Sha Tsui station or East Tsim Sha Tsui station.
Note: The roads surrounding the parade route will be closed to vehicles two to three hours before and after the parade. Please stay updated with the Transport Department‘s website, or government announcements through local media sources.
From 18 February to 4 March (the second to sixteenth day of Chinese New Year), the floats will appear at various locations across the city to continue the excitement of the parade. For the first time, eight distinctive floats will be displayed at Kai Tak Sports Park until 26 February. On the second and third days of Chinese New Year (18 and 19 February), two stages will be added, featuring multiple participating Chinese Mainland and international groups who will perform live, enhancing the festive atmosphere for the audience.
The remaining four floats will be displayed at Ocean Park, Tai Po Lam Tsuen, Sha Tin Racecourse and Victoria Park. Performing teams will also visit shopping malls and attractions across the city to perform, creating wonderful memories and celebrating Chinese New Year.
Starting from 30 January, ‘Kai Tak Sports Park Chinese New Year Celebration’ presents a series of exciting activities, including attractive shopping rewards, large-scale Chinese New Year Fairs and the magnificent Float Display. Shoppers can enjoy fabulous shopping rewards upon purchases at Kai Tak Mall, including exclusive red packets featuring designs of the Kai Tak Stadium, shopping vouchers worth up to HK$330 and complimentary tickets to Hong Kong Disneyland! From 10 to 16 February, the Chinese New Year Fairs extend from Kai Tak Mall to outdoors — Dining Cove will host the first outdoor Chinese New Year Fair to celebrate the new year with everyone.
