The Airport Authority Hong Kong has launched a new Refund Application Platform for the air passenger departure tax (APDT) starting from 1 October 2025. Eligible passengers who have paid the APDT at the time of purchasing the air tickets may easily apply for tax refunds by simply uploading supporting documents to the platform. 1905年に行政官の住居として建設されたとき、この白しっくいの邸宅は香港コロニアル建築の典型的な例でした。タイル製の勾配屋根は中国の建築スタイルが考慮されたものですが、その一方で大型のベランダにより夏は涼しく生活できます。吐露港を見渡す見張り台もあります。現在ではこの屋敷は歴史的記念建築物として保護され、 WWFの元洲仔自然環境保護研究中心の所在地で、展示会、ワークショップが開催され、140種の植物が植えられた英国調の庭園があります。元洲仔（Island House）と庭園を一般の人（広東人限定）がツアーするには予約が必要です。
