  • Ensure you’re eligible

    To enjoy a quarantine-free Air Travel Bubble journey in Hong Kong, a traveller from Singapore must have no travel history to any place other than Singapore or Hong Kong in the last 14 days (excluding departure day) prior to departure for Hong Kong.

    The Air Travel Bubble arrangement is not applicable to holders of a Work Permit or S Pass issued by the Ministry of Manpower of Singapore working in the construction, marine shipyard, or process sectors. Please check whether you need a visa for visiting Hong Kong and you can only visit Hong Kong if you meet the general immigration and visa requirements.


  • Book a designated flight
    To book a designated flight, which is a flight for the Air Travel Bubble only, check the official websites of Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines and the list of designated flight numbers.

  • Take a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of your departure from Singapore
    You must apply for approval and, if successful, take a recognised COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test with the sample taken within 72 hours before your scheduled flight departure time. You’ll need a negative test result before you can fly. Check here for the list of clinics in Singapore and further details.

    During check-in, travellers must provide a negative PCR test result issued by a selected clinic in Singapore or a testing institution recognised by the HKSAR Government. The name on the document must be identical to the name on your valid travel document. The test report should also indicate the test method (i.e. PCR), together with the date and time of specimen collection.

  • Complete online health declaration form for entry to Hong Kong before check-in

    You are required to complete and submit the ‘Health and Quarantine Information Declaration’ form before check-in. Please ensure the contacts (email and mobile phone number) provided in the form are accurate and functioning properly, as they will be used for notification of the COVID-19 test result to be conducted at the Hong Kong airport.

    After you submit the form, you will receive a QR code which is valid for 48 hours and you will need it for check-in and for entry into Hong Kong.


  • Book and pre-pay for the test to be conducted at Hong Kong airport before departure
    After landing in Hong Kong, you will need to be tested for COVID at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). Before check-in, you must book and pay for the testing service online which costs HK$499.

    Once you’ve booked and paid for the test, you’ll receive a QR code confirming your booking. Please present this QR code to airline staff at check-in.

Your designated flights between Hong Kong and Singapore only accept Air Travel Bubble (ATB) passengers. No transit passengers can board the plane.

  • Wear masks
    All passengers must wear masks except during meal times.

  • Prepare for the test at Hong Kong airport
    After landing in Hong Kong, you will need to be tested for COVID at HKIA. Please be reminded NOT to eat, drink or smoke 30 minutes before taking the test upon arrival.

  • Go through dedicated path at airport for designated flight passengers
    Upon arrival at the airport, to completing the test, you will follow a dedicated path for designated flight passengers only. Please check here to learn about the whole process.

  • Follow the signs to complete the procedure
    The PCR test at the airport takes around 4 hours from specimen collection to result announcement. Once you receive your negative test result, you can leave the airport and enjoy your journey in Hong Kong. If you receive a positive result, you will be admitted to the hospital for medical treatment.

  • Download the LeaveHomeSafe app
    Download the app to record your visits. If you were at the same venue as a confirmed patient around the same time, the app will automatically alert you and give health advice.

Prior to your return to Singapore

  • Ensure you’re eligible
    To enjoy a quarantine-free Air Travel Bubble journey back to Singapore, a traveller from Singapore must not have stayed in any locations other than Singapore or Hong Kong at least 14 days (excluding departure day) prior to the flight.

  • Take a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of your departure from Hong Kong

    You must take a COVID-19 (PCR) test within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time of your flight, from the time of specimen collection. You’ll need a negative test result before you can fly.

    If you’ve already taken a valid test in the past 72 hours, and the test results were negative, you won’t need to take this PCR test again.

    Children aged 12 or younger in that calendar year are not required to undergo a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours before the scheduled departure time of the designated ATB flight from Hong Kong to Singapore.


  • SG Arrival Card
    Complete and submit the SG Arrival Card.

In case of any discrepancy between the above and www.tourism.gov.hk/travel-bubble/en/hongkong.html, the latter shall prevail.
