Things you need to know
before embarking on your journey to Hong Kong

1. Get ready for your trip

Ensure you’re eligible

To enjoy a quarantine-free Air Travel Bubble journey in Hong Kong, a traveller from Singapore must have no travel history to any place other than Singapore or Hong Kong in the last 14 days (excluding departure day) prior to departure for Hong Kong.

The respective compulsory quarantine / Stay-Home Notice periods in Hong Kong or Singapore arising from the traveller’s last visit outside Hong Kong or Singapore would not count towards that 14-day period.

The Air Travel Bubble arrangement is not applicable to holders of a Work Permit or S Pass issued by the Ministry of Manpower of Singapore working in the construction, marine shipyard, or process sectors. Please check whether you need a visa for visiting Hong Kong and you can only visit Hong Kong if you meet the general immigration and visa requirements.

Book a designated flight

To book a designated flight, which is a flight for the Air Travel Bubble only, check the official websites of Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines.

Take a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of your departure

Travellers are required to take a PCR nucleic acid test for COVID-19 in one of the recognised testing institutions with specimen collected within 72 hours before your scheduled flight departure time. You’ll need a negative test result before you can fly.

During check-in, travellers must provide a negative PCR test result issued by a selected clinic in Singapore or a testing institution recognised by the HKSAR Government. The name on the document must be identical to the name on your valid travel document. The test report should also indicate the test method (i.e. PCR), together with the date and time of specimen collection.

Complete online health declaration form for entry to Hong Kong before check-in

You are required to complete and submit the ‘Health and Quarantine Information Declaration’ form before check-in. Please ensure the contacts (email and mobile phone number) provided in the form are accurate and functioning properly, as they will be used for notification of the COVID-19 test result to be conducted at the Hong Kong airport.

After you submit the form, you will receive a QR code which is valid for 48 hours and you will need it for check-in and for entry into Hong Kong.
