Passengers are advised that traffic volume in this period may be higher than usual, and the operating hours and frequency of public transportation may be subject to adjustments. To stay informed about the latest service arrangements, please refer to the Transport Department’s website, the HKeMobility app and passenger notices by public transportation services. 

When arriving in or departing from Hong Kong, you can choose from various boundary control points for air, land and sea travel. This year's Chinese New Year holiday will maintain the existing operating hours of the boundary control points. The Lok Ma Chau/Huanggang Port and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Port will continue to operate 24 hours as usual. Download the Immigration Department app to check the estimated wait times at each land boundary control point, to plan your travel and reduce queuing time accordingly. 

The main roads in Tsim Sha Tsui usually experience high levels of congestion during the Cathay International Chinese New Year Night Parade and Chinese New Year Fireworks Display. Road closure and crowd safety management measures will be implemented in phases and in certain areas. Please adhere to the on-site instructions for your safety.
