Hong Kong’s largest Japanese-style department store, SOGO has been a major fixture on the local shopping circuit for decades. Although the Causeway Bay store is SOGO’s flagship in Hong Kong, the department store has a second location at The Twins mall in Kai Tak.

SOGO, which originated in Japan, also has plenty of well-known international brands, including renowned fashion brands, beauty products , jewellery, leather goods, baby products, electrical appliances and home supplies.

If you get hungry when visiting the Causeway Bay store, head to the basement and you’ll find the popular Japanese supermarket, Freshmart, as well as a wide selection of food stalls offering a plethora of snacks and Japanese confectionery.

There are also several cafes and coffee shops located throughout the department store. The Kai Tak store features a number of Japanese-style cafes that food lovers must not miss.
