The Belcher Bay Promenade, located at Shing Sai Road in Kennedy Town, consists of a promenade and an adjacent open space that was formerly a public cargo working area. It covers an area of about 5,900 square metres. The promenade is built with a boardwalk of 172 metres in length, providing the public with a round-the-clock leisure space for enjoying a panoramic view of the western waters of Victoria Harbour and the sunset.

Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park

Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park is an easy-to-access park that is popular with local families in the area for its views and open-air space. It offers both a large picnic-worthy grassy area overlooking Victoria Harbour as well as an outdoor playground, soccer pitches and basketball courts to entertain toddlers, kids and teens. Families can reach the park via MTR Sheung Wan Station or Sai Ying Pun Station. The park is named after Dr Sun for his contributions as the father of modern China.

The finger pier of the precinct is transformed into a 'Harbour Station', featuring two retired East Rail Line Mid-Life Refurbishment train cars (also known as 'Fly Head' trains) donated by MTR Corporation Limited. The transformed train cars retain some of the original features for the public to reminisce about when the trains were in operation. An indoor multi-purpose room is available for groups to hold workshops, exhibitions and activities.

The Revitalised Typhoon Shelter Precinct

The Revitalised Typhoon Shelter Precinct adopts a fence-free stepped-down water edge design and provides a 90-metre-long railing-free 'harbour steps', allowing the public to enjoy an unobstructed view of the typhoon shelter and the sunset at Victoria Harbour up close.

The Precinct has renovated the 150-metre-long promenade, formerly known as Ah King’s Slipway, while preserving a large banyan tree nearby. More greenery, outdoor tables and chairs, as well as shading facilities, have been included. As a pet-friendly venue, the public can bring along their pets on leashes to the 24-hour open Precinct.

East Coast Park Precinct

Opened in 2021 along Fortress Hill’s harbourfront, the East Coast Park Precinct is an approximately 425-metre long promenade that features a 100-metre-long barrier-free breakwater, offering expansive views of Victoria Harbour.

With its wide assortment of amenities including artistic installations, a play area for children and pet-friendly spaces, the precinct is an ideal location for everything from peaceful morning strolls to quiet evening hangouts and is open round the clock.

East Coast Boardwalk

The East Coast Boardwalk is a vibrant, diverse Harbourfront Shared Space featuring a 'shared path' for various activities, such as walking, jogging and cycling. An exclusive pedestrian pathway is also available.

Highlights of the Boardwalk include the bascule bridge and the movable swing bridge, both of which are new additions to Victoria Harbour. These bridges allow vessels to access the coastal waters bounded by the Boardwalk, allowing accessibility while accommodating operational needs. Under normal conditions, the movable bridges stay connected to maintain a flow for pedestrians.

The East Coast Boardwalk is divided into eight themed areas, four of which are located in the western section, including the Sun Wave, Play Wave, Fish Wave and Gather Wave.
