Surround yourself with mysticism at Iron Fairies — an Instagrammers dream.

Iron Fairies

Another magical creation of Ashley Sutton in partnership with mixologist Joseph Boroski, Iron Fairies brings you inside iron-clad mines with a dose of fantasy. Following the success of the same concept in Bangkok and Tokyo, the Hong Kong venue is the third location of Iron Fairies. Inspired by Sutton's experiences in working in the underground iron ore mines in Western Australia, the bar showcases ironsmith's workshop-inspired furnishings, walls lined with vials of fairy dust and metal-marking tools, and the show-stopping 10,000 preserved butterflies hanging from the ceiling. Sip on signature cocktails amidst the magical surroundings while listening to live musical performances featuring blues, Caribbean grooves, and reggae.

Snap shots of this Japan-inspired watering hole while sipping perfectly mixed cocktails.

Bar De Luxe

Miss travelling to Japan? Head to H Code and visit Japanese cocktail bar Bar De Luxe for some Ginza flavours. The bar was brought to Hong Kong by legendary bartender Hidetsugu Ueno, founder of the famous Tokyo bar Bar High Five, so expect a Japanese bartending approach that elevates mixology to an art form. Along with perfectly stirred and shaken cocktails, the bar's interior has all of the trappings of an Instagram sensation. The venue's decor boasts a contemporary design blended with traditional Japanese elements like wooden sliding doors accentuated with royal blue-green tiles and the skeleton of a paper umbrella that can be seen on the bar's ceiling.

Indulge in an afternoon shoot with a ‘Doubleshot’ of joe.

Doubleshot by Cupping Room

Doubleshot is a cafe and cocktail bar brought to us by the team of specialty coffee roastery Cupping Room. Since its opening, Doubleshot has been treating our social media feeds with snaps of morning coffee, afternoon cocktails, and treats set against the street view backdrop of Hollywood Road. The venue’s interior is modern and minimalistic, but its window fixture overlooking the street below is what attracts visitors. Expect natural light to flood over your perfectly curated flat lay of drinks and bites, or take a selfie against the window view showcasing the colourful graffiti across the street.

Have a cocktail in a fantasy land with the luxurious surrounds of Dragonfly.

Dragonfly

Designed by famous interior designer Ashley Sutton, this 70-seater Art Nouveau-style cocktail lounge in Tai Kwun is something straight out of a fairy tale. Inspired by American artist Louis Tiffany's stained glass techniques and the works of French glass designer René Lalique, the opulent decor bathes the venue in emerald green with turquoise glass lamps painted with golden dragonflies, cast-iron dragonfly statuettes, and a bar shelf with a bronze sculpture of Lalique's iconic 'Dragonfly-woman' corsage. Along with picturesque surroundings, enjoy an eclectic selection of craft cocktails as well as sweet and savoury bites.

Bathe in the light and enjoy innovative cocktails at Argo.

Argo

One of Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong's best features is the great deal of natural light that comes through its floor-to-ceiling windows — a fixture that can be found at the hotel’s new innovative bar Argo. Designed to emulate a conservatory with small terrariums and mirrors flooded with natural light and views of Victoria Harbour, Argo is the perfect setting for afternoon drinks with your mates. Discover and learn about new spirits from its curated selection of innovative liquors that you'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere in the city and sip on creative cocktails served in delicate coupettes and custom ceramic glasses. From its drinks to its interior design, this bar definitely deserves a spot on your must-visit bar list.

Take in the amazing view and snap some shots from the world’s highest bar.

Ozone

Ozone holds the title of being the highest bar not just in Hong Kong, but also in the world, so expect unparalleled and unobstructed views of the city's famous skyline. A seat inside will treat you to futuristic decor with avant-garde furnishings, but the best spot is definitely from the terrace, which allows you to sip your drinks while watching the skyline glitter during sundown. If the promise of fantastic views is not enough to lure you in, the cocktail programme inspired by the five elements of nature and the selection of fine wine will do the trick.

Enjoy sundowners and an unparalleled view of the Hong Kong skyline.

Sevva

One of Hong Kong's best rooftop bars, Sevva is the perfect spot for sundowners and sunsets in Central. Founded by Hong Kong socialite Bonnie Gokson, the bar is a go-to place to socialise or to impress your dates. Its interior is replete with lavish designs that give the place an impression of being inside luxury real estate. You can catch a 360-degree view of the iconic Hong Kong skyline and the nightly light show outside on the wrap-around terrace. Drinks here are on the pricey side, but with one of the best views in town, it is to be expected.

Take a step back to yesteryear while sipping on the craft beers of today at this unique spot.

Moonkok by Moonzen

Inspired by traditional tea houses and Chinese temples, local craft brewery Moonzen's beer bar in Mong Kok offers glimpses of the olden times. The interior features large vermilion columns and emerald green colours reminiscent of Chinese temples. Expect a great selection of beers on tap from Moonzen as well as beers from other various breweries. Sit by the bar for a cold pint and bar bites and take tons of pictures to post on your 'gram.
