Dr Peter K N Lam is Chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and leads the organisation in promoting Hong Kong as one of the world’s leading travel destinations, while maximising the benefits of tourism for the city and its community.
Dr Lam served on the HKTB board from 2007 and 2013 and previously held the chairmanship from 2013 to 2019.
As Chairman of the Lai Sun Group, Dr Lam is in charge of a diverse portfolio covering property development, hospitality, media, and entertainment, with companies including Lai Sun Garment, Lai Sun Development, eSun Holdings, Lai Fung Holdings, and Media Asia Group Holdings.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Dr Lam is dedicated to public service. He serves as Chairman of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council from 2019 to 2025 and sits on several major advisory committees, including the Chief Executive’s Council of Advisers and the Trade and Industry Advisory Board.
Dr Lam is a member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Vice Chairman of Friends of Hong Kong Association Limited.
Dr Lam holds a deep passion for culture and energetically promotes Hong Kong’s rich cultural heritage. He chairs the Hong Kong Chamber of Films Limited and the Hong Kong Cultural Development Research Institute Limited, and is also Honorary Chairman of Hong Kong Motion Picture Industry Association Limited and President of Hong Kong Association of Cultural Industries Limited.
Dr Lam’s significant contributions to public life and business development were recognised when he was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star in 2015 and Grand Bauhinia Medal in 2022 by the Hong Kong SAR Government.
Dr Lam has been the Chairman of HKTB since 1 April 2025.
Mrs Cheung joined the Administrative Service in September 1992 and has served in a diverse range of bureaux and departments, including the former City and New Territories Administration, the former Economic Services Branch, the former Education and Manpower Branch, the Civil Service Bureau, the Home Affairs Department, the former Food and Health Bureau and the Labour and Welfare Bureau. She was Deputy Secretary for Education from April 2012 to October 2017, Deputy Secretary for Home Affairs from October 2017 to August 2020, and Deputy Secretary for the Civil Service from August 2020 to July 2024.
Mrs Angelina Cheung has been appointed as the Commissioner for Tourism, effective 12 August 2024.
Mr Chan is a Senior Counsel practising at the Temple Chambers. He has been serving as a Recorder of the Court of First Instance of the High Court since, and the member of the Process Review Panel for the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority since 2021. He is now also a Member of the Board of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority.
Mr Abraham Chan SC has been a member of HKTB since November 2019.
Mr Chow is the Chair of Deloitte Asia Pacific and Deputy Chair of Deloitte Global. He is also a Shenzhen CPPCC Member, the Treasurer of the Council of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, a member of Exchange Fund Advisory Committee and Deposit-taking Companies Advisory Committee of Hong Kong Monetary Authority, a member of the Governing Committee of the North Lantau Hospital and a member of the Hong Kong Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Mr Dennis Chow has been a member of HKTB since August 2021.
Ms Fong was the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council ("HKTDC"). Besides, she is a member of the Aviation Development and Three-runway System Advisory Committee, the Film Development Council, the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board and the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council.
Ms Margaret Fong has been a member of HKTB since November 2016.
Dr Fung is the Executive Director of Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited. Besides, he is the Vice Chairman and an Executive Director of SUNeVision Holdings Ltd. , Deputy Chairman and an Executive Director of SmarTone Telecommunications Holdings Limited and a Non-executive Director of Transport International Holdings Limited.
Dr Fung is a member of the General Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, the Vice President of The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, and has been elected a Professor of Practice of The Hong Kong Management Association. He is also the Vice Chairman of the board of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Society Limited, and a member of the Museum Advisory Committee of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Dr Allen Fung has been a member of HKTB since November 2019.
Mrs Hsu is the Director and General Manager of Towa. She is also the Chairman of Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong, the Permanent Honorable Chairman of Hong Kong Japanese Tour Operators Association, the Trade Member of Travel Industry Authority and a Member of the Election Committee of Hong Kong.
Mrs Gianna Hsu has been a member of HKTB since November 2022.
Ms Huen is the Chief Executive Officer for Hong Kong and Greater China & North Asia at Standard Chartered and Executive Director of Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited.
She is also a representative of Hong Kong, China to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation ("APEC") Business Advisory Council, Vice Chairman of Hong Kong Association of Banks, a member of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority Banking Advisory Committee, a Council Member of the Hong Kong Management Association, a member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council's Belt and Road & Greater Bay Area Committee, a member of Advisory Committee on Development of International Aviation Superhub, a member of the Human Resources Planning Commission, and a member of the Hospital Authority Board.
Ms Huen has been a member of HKTB since April 2019.
Mrs Kung is an advisor to Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, a director of BOCHK Charitable Foundation and a director of The Community Chest of Hong Kong.
She currently serves in a number of public offices She is a Board Member of Airport Authority Hong Kong, a steward of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, the Chairman of Standing Committee on Directorate Salaries and Conditions of Service, a member of the Public Service Commission, the Chairman of Hospital Governing Committee of Hong Kong Children's Hospital, the Chairman of the Banking and Financial Services Group of the Employers' Federation of Hong Kong, , and a member of the University Council of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Mrs Ann Kung has been a member of HKTB since November 2022.
Ms Kwan is the senior vice president of Global Sales & Revenue, Head of Operations - Europe, Dorsett Hospitality International, and also the general manager of Lan Kwai Fong Hotel @ Kau U Fong.
Ms Kwan is an Executive Committee Member of Hong Kong Hotels Association.
Ms Rebecca Kwan has been a member of HKTB since July 2020.
Hon Lam is the Managing Director of Forward Winsome Industries Limited, a member of the Executive Council, a Legislative Council Member and Vice Chairman of the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong. He is also a Member of The Hong Kong Shippers’ Council, a Non-Official Member of Advisory Committee on the Northern Metropolis, a General Committee Member of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, a Co-Opt Member of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, etc.
Hon Jeffrey Lam has been a member of HKTB since 1 April 2025.
Ms Lau is Cathay Chief Customer and Commercial Officer and is responsible for Premium Travel (i.e. Cathay Pacific), Cargo and Lifestyle. She is also an Executive Director on the Board of Cathay.
She is Chair of the Board of Airline Representatives in Hong Kong (“BAR”).
Ms Lavinia Lau has been a member of HKTB since August 2020.
Ms Ng is a Non-Executive Director and Director of Philanthropy of Sino Group. She is also a member of the 14th Shanghai Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Vice Chairman of the General Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, a Trustee Member of Ocean Park Conservation Foundation Hong Kong, a Non-Official Member of The Commission on Poverty, a Member of the Personal Data (Privacy) Advisory Committee, etc.
Ms Nikki Ng has been a member of HKTB since 1 April 2025.
Ms Pang is the Managing Partner of Pang & Associates. She is also the Chairman of Family Council, Chairman of the Board of Agency for Volunteer Service, Chairman of Hong Kong Press Council, Non-Official Member of Constitution and Basic Law Promotion Steering Committee, and an Ex-Officio Member of Commission on Children.
Ms Melissa Pang has been a member of HKTB since 1 April 2025.
Dr Suen is the Chair of Simon Suen Foundation and Founder of Sun Museum. She serves in various public roles, particularly in the area of art and heritage, including the Member of Chief Executive's Policy Unit Social Development Expert Group, Member of the Hong Kong Baptist University Court, Member of Hong Kong Arts Development Council, Member of Museum Advisory Committee as well as its Art Sub-committee, Member of Social Welfare Advisory Committee, Member of the Board of Governors of the Hong Kong Arts Centre, and Co-Chairman of Hong Kong Baptist University Young Entrepreneur Committee.
Dr Chloe Suen has been a member of HKTB since 1 November 2024.
Mr Szeto is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Hung Fook Tong Group Holdings Limited. He is an Executive Member of the Hong Kong Retail Management Association and a Professor of Practice in School of Accounting and Finance, Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Mr Szeto is passionate about public and welfare affairs. In addition to some NGOs, he also serves as a member of the Advisory Committee on Enhancing Employment of People with Disabilities and a member of the Advisory Committee on Social Welfare.
Mr Ricky Szeto has been a member of HKTB since November 2019.
Mr Tsang is the Chairman of Strategic Public Relations Group.
Mr Tsang holds over 100 board, committee and advisory positions in over 50 business, religious, education, governmental and non-governmental organisations.
Mr Tsang is also currently the Chairman of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, Vice Chairman of Hong Kong Dance Company, Vice President of the Methodist Church Hong Kong, Vice Chairman of the Q Mark Council, and a member of the Steering Committee on Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases.
Mr Richard Tsang has been a member of HKTB since 1 November 2023.
Mr Wong is the Chief Executive Officer of Kwoon Chung Bus Holdings Limited. He is a member of the Tourism Strategy Committee, the 20th Executive Committee Member of Public Omnibus Operators Association Limited, and the 10th Executive Committee Member of China Hong Kong and Macau Boundary Crossing Bus Association.
Mr James Wong has been a member of HKTB since April 2019.
Professor Wong is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lucky House Group.
Professor Wong is also the Chairman of the Quality Tourism Services Association, the Chairman of the Catering Industry Training Advisory Committee, and the Chairman of the Environmental Campaign Committee. Additionally, he is a member of the Major Sports Events Committee, a member of the Food Business and Related Services Task Force of the Business Facilitation Advisory Committee, and a member of the Town Planning Board.
Professor Simon Wong has been a member of HKTB since November 2019.
Mr Wu is the Executive Director of Gray Line Tours of Hong Kong Limited. He is a member of Travel Industry Training Advisory Committee, and a member of the Consultation Panel of West Kowloon Cultural District Authority. He was the Chairman of Hong Kong Association or Travel Agents and Director of the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong.
Mr Ronald Wu has been a member of HKTB since November 2022.
