The Airport Authority Hong Kong has launched a new Refund Application Platform for the air passenger departure tax (APDT) starting from 1 October 2025. Eligible passengers who have paid the APDT at the time of purchasing the air tickets may easily apply for tax refunds by simply uploading supporting documents to the platform. For more details, please visit the website www.APDTRefund.hk.
The exhibition features about 300 pieces or sets of cultural relics from the Tang dynasty, including 49 grade-one cultural relics, from 28 museums and cultural institutions in 10 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities of Chinese Mainland, and 29 archaeological finds from the collection of the Antiquities and Monuments Office of Development Bureau in Hong Kong. Divided into eight sections, the exhibition showcases the confidence, openness and inclusiveness of the flourishing Tang era while highlighting Hong Kong as an important hub on the Maritime Silk Road.
