Dancing Water Drops is created by renowned cross-disciplinary artist Simon Ma. Using the drop as a central motif, it symbolises water’s inclusiveness and vitality. The exhibition features the world’s largest water drop art installation, standing at 28.8 metres high, which will be officially unveiled on Mother’s Day (11 May). Paired with another 18.8-metre drop, the two symbolise unity and harmony. The exhibition also includes 600 tumbler-style water droplet sculptures, representing the participation of 600 children from Hong Kong’s 18 districts and diverse communities, embodying multicultural inclusion. Every evening on the hour at 7, 8 and 9pm, a special themed musical light show will illuminate the waterfront.
