沙田競馬場(Sha Tin Racecourse)は1978年に開設されました。アジア屈指の競馬場で、芝コースとダートコースの両方があります。通常のレース以外にも、国際的な有名イベントの会場にもなります。レースのほかにも飲食店があり、コースの中央にはきれいな彭福公園などのレクリエーション施設もあります。
