Breathtaking cable car views
The journey starts with a ride on the Ngong Ping 360 cable car, spanning 5.7 kilometres up mountains on a 25-minute journey and offers views of the Hong Kong International Airport and the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge stretching across the Pearl River Delta.
On a clear day, you may even glimpse Macao on the horizon. Reserve a Crystal Cabin, which has glass bottom and glass walls on all four sides, offering you unmatched vistas of the panoramic scenery.
Stroll Ngong Ping Village
At the end of your cable car ride, explore the charming Ngong Ping Village. It’s the perfect place to pick up some handicrafts and souvenirs or enjoy some refreshments.
Discover the sacred Po Lin Monastery
The Po Lin Monastery is a sacred Buddhist site, home to artefacts, ancient scriptures and carved statues. Explore the ornate halls and tranquil gardens and soak in the spiritual ambience. You can also dine at Po Lin Monastery’s vegetarian restaurant, serving traditional Chinese dishes, including dim sum, prepared with locally sourced ingredients.
Visit the majestic Big Buddha
