The Court of Final Appeal Building is a true architectural masterpiece, with towering granite columns and a commanding pediment crowned by the figure of Lady Justice herself. Formerly known as the Old Supreme Court Building, the three-storey structure, which opened in 1912, is a striking example of neo-classical architecture. The tall Ionic columns lend an air of elegance, while the blindfolded statue of the Greek goddess Themis atop the central pediment exudes a sense of solemnity and grandeur. The best time to view the building is in the evenings from across the tramway on Des Voeux Road Central. As the building's lights turn on, its facade illuminates with a warm glow, highlighting its architectural details and commanding presence.
