This summer, don’t miss CHIIKAWA in Hong Kong Neighbourhoods! Join Chiikawa and friends as they are depicted as adorable dim sum dishes like har gow and siu mai. You can find them at popular spots such as Central, Sai Kung, Kai Tak Sports Park and East Coast Boardwalk. 

Be sure to check in with Chiikawa and friends and register for the e-stamp rally! Complete your stamp collection and enjoy a fun tour of the neighbourhoods.

Central

Visit Central to experience Hong Kong’s unique East-meets-West culture. This metropolitan neighbourhood seamlessly blends the city’s past and present, featuring heritage sites like Pottinger Street and Tai Kwun, vibrant street art and standout restaurants and bars. At the heart of this area is the Central–Mid-Levels Escalator, which stretches over 800 metres. Visitors can hop on and off to effortlessly explore what Central has to offer.

Kai Tak Sports Park

Kai Tak Sports Park is a fully integrated sports, entertainment and leisure landmark. The Sports Park features a 50,000-seat Kai Tak Stadium with a retractable-roof, a 10,000-capacity multi-configuration Kai Tak Arena, and a 5,000-seat Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground, complemented by extensive open spaces, retail, and harbourfront dining – seamlessly blending world-class events with lifestyle experiences.

Sai Kung
Known as the ‘back garden of Hong Kong’, Sai Kung boasts rolling hills, stunning beaches, hidden islands and an expansive geopark. Lace up your hiking boots and trek through scenic trails, or hop on a ferry for some fun-filled island hopping. Don’t forget to visit the Sai Kung Promenade to enjoy freshly-caught seafood from local fishermen, wrapping up a perfect day trip in this laid-back area.
East Coast Boardwalk, North Point
East Coast Boardwalk, North Point (Western Section) is a picturesque walkway under the Island Eastern Corridor that stretches for approximately 1.1 kilometres and connects Fortress Hill to North Point. Stroll along to discover a play area, fitness facilities for all ages, viewing platforms, a fishing platform and a shared path allowing visitors to walk, jog, cycle and more. The boardwalk also offers unobstructed views of Victoria Harbour, making it a great spot for outdoor activities and watching sunsets.

You can take the Tung Chung Line or Airport Express to reach Hong Kong Station, Exit A2 or the Island Line to reach Central Station, Exit A. From either MTR exit, walk along the pedestrian bridge for about 10 minutes to reach Central Pier, where you will find the CHIIKAWA photo spot. For more information, visit the MTR website.

Take the Tuen Ma Line and alight at either Kai Tak Station, Exit D or Sung Wong Toi Station, Exit D. The walking distance to Kai Tak Sports Park is approximately 5 to 10 minutes from each of these stations. The CHIIKAWA photo spot is at World Flyer. For more information, visit the MTR website.

Take an urban taxi (red) and alight at Kai Tak Sports Park. The CHIIKAWA photo spot is at World Flyer.

Please pay attention to the special traffic arrangements during events at Kai Tak Stadium to ensure a smooth journey to Kai Tak Sports Park.

There are no MTR stations that go directly to Sai Kung. The closest is Hang Hau Station on the Tseung Kwan O Line. From there, take the green minibus (101M) at the Hang Hau Station Public Transport Interchange (Exit A1/B1) and alight at Sai Kung (Wai Man Road) Public Transport Interchange. Then, walk towards Sai Kung Promenade to find the CHIIKAWA photo spot.

By minibus

At Choi Hung Public Transport Terminus (Exit C from MTR Choi Hung Station), take the 1A green minibus and get off at Sai Kung (Wai Man Road) Public Transport Interchange. Walk towards Sai Kung Promenade to find the CHIIKAWA photo spot. For more information, visit the Sai Kung District Council Travel in Sai Kung website.

By taxi

For a taxi (red or green), ask the driver to take you to Sai Kung (Wai Man Road) Public Transport Interchange. Once you arrive, walk towards Sai Kung Promenade to find the CHIIKAWA photo spot.

By bus

You can take several direct bus routes to Sai Kung, including KMB bus 92 from Diamond Hill Station, KMB bus 299X from Shatin Central, KMB bus 99 from Heng On or Citybus 792M from Tseung Kwan O Station.

Take the Island Line or Tseung Kwan O Line to North Point Station, Exit A1, and walk about 3 minutes via Tong Shui Road or 5 minutes through Provident Garden and the movable swing bridge. Alternatively, take the Island Line and alight at Fortress Hill Station, Exit A and walk about 15 minutes via the Watson Road entrance to the East Coast Park Precinct. Head to the viewing platforms on the boardwalk to find the CHIIKAWA photo spot. For more information, visit the Harbourfront Commission website.

By taxi

Take an urban taxi (red) and alight at Tong Shui Road, Provident Garden or the Watson Road entrance to the East Coast Park Precinct. Walk toward the viewing platforms on the boardwalk to find the CHIIKAWA photo spot.

The opening hours will be adjusted depending on the weather conditions and maintenance on site.

‘CHIIKAWA DAYS’ Exhibition

Creative brand AllRightsReserved (ARR), in a first-time special cooperation with Spiralcute International, the official licensor of CHIIKAWA, presents the large-scale themed exhibition CHIIKAWA DAYS. Launching at K11 MUSEA and Tsim Sha Tsui Harbourfront, this immersive exhibition brings together a wide array of classic CHIIKAWA scenes centred around the four themes of clothing, food, shelter and action.

Additionally, a unique outdoor showcase featuring multiple giant inflatable sculptures invites visitors to step into the everyday adventures of Chiikawa and friends.

Adding a local twist, CHIIKAWA’s illustrator Nagano, has specially created an exclusive ‘YUM CHA’ Art, depicting Chiikawa and friends as adorable versions of classic dim sum dishes like har gow and siu mai.

From food, shelter and action to little daily adventures – step into CHIIKAWA’s home, take on battle quests, explore the endlessly overflowing rice cooker and enjoy the debut of a Hong Kong-exclusive dim sum space, filled with charming surprises around every corner! The indoor exhibition recreates iconic scenes from the story, including the internet cafe, ‘Ramen Rō’, the 3-star restaurant, the prison and famous battle scenes.

Remarks

The exhibition may be temporarily closed due to on-site maintenance or inclement weather. If the wind speed or gust reaches level 6 or above and the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 is hoisted, the outdoor exhibition area will be open for limited use. If visitors decide not to enter the venue before the organiser makes any opening adjustments, the entry wristband will be invalid after the expiration date. The ticketing platform and the organiser will not reissue or replace it and will not bear any related responsibility.

When Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, Black Rainstorm Warning Signal, ‘extreme conditions’, or sudden severe weather is in effect, the entire exhibition will be closed for the safety of the public and staff, and the relevant visit reservations will be automatically cancelled without further notice. The organiser will adjust the opening arrangements depending on the weather conditions on site.
