The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has launched the Anti-epidemic Hygiene Measures Certification Scheme in partnership with the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA). The scheme will raise awareness of epidemic prevention and provide unified guidelines on hygiene measures for shopping malls, restaurants, retail outlets, hotels, attractions, inbound tour operators and other tourism-related sectors. The HKQAA will conduct random visits to certified venues for continued inspections, to ensure visitors can travel with confidence and have a pleasant trip.
Scheme members displaying this badge have implemented these key measures:
Unannounced checks continue after certification to ensure excellent hygiene is maintained and certification is withdrawn from any business that fails. For extra peace of mind, you can also check the list of certified organisations.
Hong Kong maintains precautionary health and safety measures. Before your visit, please make yourself aware of the latest measures.
