Three glittering horses take centre stage, accompanied by dazzling lights that symbolise the vitality and vibrancy of the Year of the Horse, reflecting the energy of the people of Hong Kong. The float draws inspiration from the iconic interior design of McDonald’s Sha Tin New Town Plaza restaurant in the 1980s, reviving the beloved train installation that remains a cherished memory for generations of Hong Kongers.
Adorned in the chain’s signature red and yellow hues, the float proudly showcases the iconic ‘M’ logo on its sides and golden fries at the rear. Illuminated by classic light bulbs, it captures joy, nostalgia and McDoanld’s timeless spirit.

Themed Happy Chinese New Year: Ten Thousands of Horses Galloping, the float integrates the global brand logo of the "Happy Chinese New Year’ programme launched by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, the 2026 mascot ‘Lucky Horse’, alongside the cultural and tourism promotional images of 31 provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government, as well as the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions. It conveys the powerful message of celebrating Chinese New Year with culture and tourism, while inspiring national spirit and extends sincere wishes for national prosperity and rejuvenation.

‘Hong Kong Art Toys Parade’, organised by the Hong Kong Brand Toy Association and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDAHK), twelve popular art toys are immersed in a giant bathtub, three mascots among of them will be accompanied during the parade and blowing creative bubbles. Under the night sky, it transforms into a playful world, where thirty dancers dressed in themed art toy style costumes dance to the music. Their spectacular moves lead the audience on a journey back to childhood, celebrating the arrival of the Chinese New Year together.

Hello everyone! Are you ready to party? Hong Kong Disneyland is celebrating their 20th Anniversary with an unforgettable street party vibe to ring in a fun and prosperous Chinese New Year! Get ready to celebrate with Mickey, Minnie, Duffy, and LinaBell, riding in style on their dazzling anniversary float! Joining them are 30 incredible dancers, filling the street with energy and joy, as they groove to the anniversary theme song: ‘The Most Magical Party of All!’

Carrying millions of wishes, the glowing Wishing Tree shines alongside iconic Hong Kong landmarks and a vibrant, colourful horse, symbolising hope, renewal and a brighter future ahead.
This wishing float from the Lam Tsuen Wishing Square is powered by AP Power’s smart and green mobile electricity. With its soundless and low- carbon emission generator serving as a steady safeguard, the float illuminates the parade in a sustainable way — shining not only with light, but with a powerful message of progress, infinite energy and hope for Hong Kong’s future.

Themed Experience Macao, the float features Macao’s city flower, lotus, along with the Tourism Mascot ‘Mak Mak’, showcasing the city’s dynamic charm. It highlights Macao’s UNESCO World Heritage and status as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. A dreamy lotus pond sets the scene, with Mak Mak guiding viewers through iconic landmarks and cuisine. A replica of the Taipa Houses blends with holographic projection to vividly portray Macao’s scenery, while ‘Fortune Mak Mak’ stands at the front holding red envelopes to share festive blessings.

As spring brings joyful blessings, Ocean Park's Panda Friends are glowing in their festive New Year outfits! This year's float features the Park's iconic Ocean Express, cable cars and Ferris wheel, showcasing the attraction’s vibrant and diverse charm, alongside Whiskers & Friends and adorable animal ambassadors, wishing everyone success and endless joy in the Year of the Horse!

The inspiration for the QTSA float design is drawn from Chinese New Year traditions of Fai Chun and Peonies. The theme embodies a beautiful vision of renewal, prosperityand good fortune for the new year, while highlighting the vibrant growth of Hong Kong's retail, catering and tourism-related industries. The design features a gracefully unfurling New Year Scroll and splendidly blooming peonies at its centrepiece, adorned with magpies soaring high. Peonies symbolise wealth, good fortune and prosperity, while magpies represent peace, joy and enduring good luck. Together, they harmonise perfectly, complementing and enhancing each other. The float is jointly organised by the QTSA and several Quality Tourism Services (QTS)-accredited merchants, symbolising the collective efforts in welcoming visitors warmly, ensuring they feel at home and promoting Hong Kong's reputation as a 'Hospitality City’.
Set sail into a smooth and sparkling Year of the Horse! This year, the Hong Kong Tourism Board float features an iconic Chinese junk boat, adorned with red LED sails that glow warmly. It showcases our joyful horse mascots alongside the Kai Tak Stadium mini float. As it glides ahead, the float brings our wishes — for you and for Hong Kong — to enjoy wave after wave of world-class events throughout the year.
