  1. 1. Is there a ticket for all the routes, or do I need to pay for each route separately?​
    Big Bus Tours:
    • Separate tickets are required for each designated route.​
    • Visitors can join the bus tours after 6pm from 1 February 2025 to 30 April 2025.​
       

    Citybus HK City Sightseeing Bus:

    • Visitors can purchase ‘Night Pass’ for an hop-on, hop-off experience of Route H2K Night Tour or ‘Day Pass’ for all hop-on, hop-off tours day and night. 
       

    ‘KMB Tour HK’ Open Top Bus Route HK1:

    • Passengers may purchase tickets for ‘KMB Tour HK’ Open Top Bus Route HK1 at the Tsim Sha Tsui Customer Centre located at the Star Ferry Bus Terminus. The tickets are available for both Route HK1’s Daytime and Nighttime departures.
    • Tourists can purchase the Tourist Day Pass Premium at HK$98 for unlimited rides on the Open Top Bus Route HK1, hopping on and off at various attractions and enjoying a unique sightseeing experience aboard an open-top bus. The Day Pass Premium is also accepted on over 480 KMB and LWB routes across Hong Kong (except for Routes K12, K14, K17 and K18). 
  2. 2. Can I hop-off any bus stops along the route?

    Big Bus Tours:
    If you decide to hop off the bus before the end of the route, you will be required to purchase a new ticket for the night bus tour.

    Citybus HK City Sightseeing Bus:
    If you hopped off the bus but wish to go on the bus tour again in the same evening, they will have to queue up again (Applicable for Citybus HK City Sightseeing Bus H2K Night Tour only)

    ‘KMB Tour HK’ Open Top Bus Route HK1:
    Passengers can hop on and off at bus stops along the route. To alight at an intermediate stop, please press the stop bell in advance. You must pay the fare again if you wish to board the bus again (except for holders of the Tourist Day Pass Premium).

  3. 3. Can I pay for the tour from one of the bus stops along the route?
    Big Bus Tours:

    Citybus HK City Sightseeing Bus:

    • Visitors can purchase the ticket from online ticket platforms.
    • The original bus fare will be applied for the boarding at the en-route bus stop of the route H2K. (Routing is operated by Citybus HK City Sightseeing Bus tour)
       

    ‘KMB Tour HK’ Open Top Bus Route HK1:

    • Passengers can board at any stops along the route and pay the fare using Hong Kong dollars in cash (exact amount), Octopus card, or electronic payment methods (accepting physical credit cards from American Express, Discover, Diner Club, VISA, MasterCard, UnionPay, and JCB; mobile payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay; or QR code payments through Alipay, AlipayHK, WeChat Pay, WeChat Pay HK, UnionPay QuickPass, BoC Pay, and KMB eCoin) (except for holders of the Tourist Day Pass Premium).
  4. 4. How long in advance can I purchase the tickets?

    Big Bus Tours:
    Visitors can purchase tickets one day in advance. For example, on 15 March, you can purchase tickets for that day (15 March) and the following day (16 March).

    Citybus HK City Sightseeing Bus:
    Visitors can purchase the ticket 30 days in advance.

    ‘KMB Tour HK’ Open Top Bus Route HK1:
    Tickets for Route HK1 are valid for one month. Passengers who have purchased the Tourist Day Pass Premium should note its activation period.

  5. 5. Do visitors aged below 3 need to purchase tickets?

    Big Bus Tours:
    Children under 3 may travel free of charge.  All children must be accompanied by a fare paying adult.

    Citybus HK City Sightseeing Bus, ‘KMB Tour HK’ Open Top Bus Route HK1: 
    Children under the age of four, if accompanied by an adult and not occupying a seat, may travel free of charge. Not more than two children shall be carried free of charge by any one adult.

  10. 10. How long is the full bus ride if I do not get off the bus?

    About 60 to 75 minutes, subject to traffic conditions.

  11. 11. After finishing the route, can I stay on the same bus to enjoy the route again?​

    Passengers are required to get off the bus at the terminus when the tour is finished.
