By train from the Mainland

The Lo Wu Line and Lok Ma Chau Spur Line/Futian Control Points have resumed regular services without any prescribed daily quotas.

It’s possible to visit Hong Kong from cities in the Mainland by both high-speed trains and the East Rail Line via Lo Wu or Lok Ma Chau stations.
 

Visitors can take a high-speed train to Hong Kong from numerous cities in the Mainland. The 26 km ‘Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong’ High-Speed Rail (Hong Kong section) runs from West Kowloon and connects passengers to the national high-speed rail network. Visitors can travel directly between Hong Kong and 58 destinations in the Mainland, including Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Xiamen and Kunming.

By coach from the Mainland and Macao

Visitors can use cross-boundary coaches to travel to Hong Kong from Macao and cities in the Mainland. There are cross-boundary coach services via the six major road-based land crossings in Hong Kong: Shenzhen Bay Port, Lok Ma Chau, Man Kam To, Sha Tau Kok, Heung Yuen Wai and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

 

HONG KONG-ZHUHAI-MACAO BRIDGE

Passengers can take shuttle buses or cross-boundary coaches between Hong Kong and Macao, or Hong Kong and Zhuhai via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. Cross-boundary coaches provide services between urban areas of Hong Kong and Zhuhai or Macao to different parts of Hong Kong. The main stopping points in Hong Kong include Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon Station, Mong Kok, Prince Edward, Kwun Tong and Tseung Kwan O. The main destinations in the Mainland via the bridge include Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Jiangmen, Xinhui, Kaiping, Taishan and Yangjiang.

By ferry from the Mainland and Macao

  • Passenger clearance services at the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal and the China Ferry Terminal continue to operate with regular services.​

  • Air-to-sea ferry transfer services from the SkyPier of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) to the Shenzhen Shekou Port have resumed. Sea-to-air and air-to-sea ferry transfer services are available at the Shekou Port for transfer passengers. However, sea-to-air and air-to-sea transfer services between the HKIA SkyPier and other Mainland China ports remain unavailable at HKIA. Sea-to-air and air-to-sea ferry services between the SkyPier and Macao have resumed. Hong Kong is linked to a number of ports in the Mainland by high-speed ferries servicing Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and Hong Kong International Airport (off Lantau Island).

 

HONG KONG–MACAU FERRY TERMINAL

  • TurboJet provides ferry services between Hong Kong and Macao that take approximately 55 minutes.
  • Chu Kong Passenger Transport (CKS) provides ferry services between Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta cities of Shenzhen Shekou and Zhuhai.
  • Cotai Water Jet provides ferry services between Hong Kong and Macao.

HONG KONG–CHINA FERRY TERMINAL

  • TurboJet operated by Shun Tak China Travel Ship Management Limited provides ferry services between Hong Kong and Macao that take approximately 60 minutes.
  • Chu Kong Passenger Transport (CKS) provides ferry services between Hong Kong and cities in Guangdong province.
  • Cotai Water Jet provides ferry services between Hong Kong and Macao.

HONG KONG SKYPIER

Passengers transiting through Hong Kong International Airport on their way to the Pearl River Delta region via SkyPier ferry services do not need to go through immigration and customs or reclaim baggage.

  • Chu Kong Passenger Transport (CKS) provides ferry services between Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta cities of Shenzhen (Shekou), Shenzhen Airport (Fuyong), Guangzhou Lianhuashan, Guangzhou Nansha, Zhongshan, Dongguan (Humen) and Zhuhai.
  • Cotai Water Jet provides ferry services between Hong Kong and Macao.
  • TurboJet provides ferry services between Hong Kong and Macao.
