A hub for artistic creation that was revitalised from a factory building.

The Jockey Club Creative Arts Center (JCCAC) is a nine-storey cultural hub, but its remnants as a factory building remains an iconic part of the space. Whether it’s the bold ‘Shek Kip Mei Factory Estate’ sign plastered on its green walls, the square-shaped inner courtyard, or the worn concrete floors, its humble beginnings are hard to ignore. It was once a gathering ground for Hong Kong's family-run businesses, and in 2008, it took on a new identity as the beloved art village we know today. In addition to the many venues where you can watch artists at work, you can also find authentic industrial machinery in the lobby and on each floor, providing physical snapshots of its rich history. The centre also features a theatre, handicraft experiences, the Heritage Tea House, and the Golden Cafe.
