Cannabidiol (CBD) will be classified as a dangerous drug in Hong Kong from 1 February 2023. Products containing CBD will be prohibited under the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, and offenders will be subject to a maximum penalty of imprisonment and a fine. Click here to find out more.
Spend an afternoon exploring Western Monastery, a relatively new Buddhist temple in Tsuen Wan. Established by the Hong Kong Buddhi Siksa Society in 1970, the temple was expanded in the late 1990s and now covers an area of 200,000 square metres. It consists of nine pseudo-Chinese palatial architectures and there is also an exhibition area foucsing on Kwan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy, displaying scriptures, statues of her different forms, and more.
