HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Identify and prioritise key markets, develop effective trade marketing strategies and plans on geographic and target market prioritisation and resources allocation.
  • Design, solicit buy-ins from local teams & Head Office, and implement trade marketing and cruise programs that drive visitations, market share and financial yield for Hong Kong. 
  • Lead national online travel portal promotions, as well as the organisation and participation in trade shows and events; coordinate with Head Office and other Worldwide Offices to support multi-destination trade and media familiarisation trips.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local tourism bureaus and relevant authorities for the purpose of promoting Hong Kong’s interest; foster close ties with trade via regular product updates, joint business planning, agency engagement and motivation, familiarisation trips and sales calls.
  • Oversee trade marketing activities to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with legal and policy requirements; effectively allocate and manage resources and expenditures according to guidelines and pre-approved plans to maximise returns.
  • Assist and execute any other business-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University degree holder.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within the tourism industry in sales and marketing, particularly building partnerships with industry players.
  • Specialist knowledge of Hong Kong tourism, cruise industry, and online travel agencies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, planning, leadership and budget management skills.
  • Resourceful and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to deliver under pressure with limited resources and tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to travel.
     

LOCATION:

  • The position is located in our Guangzhou Office.

  • We do not offer moving allowances from other cities
