Senior Manager, Marketing will lead in the development and implementation of fully integrated digital, social marketing and public relations programs, which build awareness of and drive leisure arrivals to the destination.
To lead development and implementation of consumer marketing with emphasis on Paid Digital and Social Marketing programs as the priority.
Ensure on every occasion that Social Marketing and PR programs are complementary; work closely with Agency and Manager of Marketing & Public Relations for integration.
Team with the Senior Manager of Marketing & Public Relations, and Trade Marketing team in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that build interest for the destination.
Prepare clear and succinct agency input documents/briefs for media planning, creative development of digital and social media/influencer marketing programs.
Digital & Social
Management of media buying agency when required and third party vendors (e.g. OTAs) on media recommendations and proposal development. Work with Senior Manager of Marketing & Public Relations on plan revisions, and ensure strategic integration is included.
Set metrics for targeted reach, SOV, engagement, video views, CTRs and other KPIs as agreed for all campaigns.
Sharp analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance reports, and apply findings to optimize for maximum effectiveness.
Own day-to-day social marketing:
Writing/asset selection and posting of organic Twitter creative and paid Facebook, Instagram and TikTok creative.
Manage paid social media buy and accounts.
Develop effective, measurable, results-driven paid social marketing programs that meet program-specific and US Social KPIs on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and Twitter.
Work closely with Senior Manager of Marketing & Public Relations and PR agency to ensure full integration of media activities into the overall consumer communications plan.
Prepare monthly publicity value reports, including all compilation of media monitoring service data, link-checking and required follow-up.
Work with PR Agency and oversee Media FAM trip development and execution, as needed.
Manage consumer and PR marketing yearly budget
Monitor each Budget Plan for accurate spend-to-budget, and work closely with Senior Manager, Finance to prepare recommendation for quarterly budget reviews.
Follow all financial policy compliance requirements.
Minimum 10 years of agency- or client-side integrated marketing experience with well-rounded traditional and digital/social marketing skills. Media planning, project management or account management experience at an advertising agency, or social marketing agency is a significant plus.
Previous PR experience is not required but would be very helpful
Proactive approach and routine development of big ideas.
Ability to sharply prioritize projects and efficiently manage a large workload.
Demonstrate ability to analyze data and synthesize for actionable use.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail and ability to follow through accurately, meeting all deadlines.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and sharp Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint skills.
Willingness to travel.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
The position is located in our Los Angeles office.
