HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Formulate and develop an innovative and highly integrated regional marketing and PR strategy in line with Head Office’s (“HO”) guidelines and local market demands to achieve business performance goals and deliver KPI targets
  • Lead, develop and execute all marketing and PR activities, collaborating with PR, marketing, trade, global teams and partners to build an impactful end-to-end integrated program and ensure consistency with global brand requirements 

  • Guide direct reports to ensure full integration of media activities into the overall consumer communications plan and ensure all digital is well integrated with PR.

  • Ensure consistency with global brand requirements across all our regional communications.

  • Implement cross-functional partnership with agencies to ensure successful brand marketing.

  • Engage in close communication with PR agency in development of strategy, concepts and execution of measurable PR and campaigns that contribute to meeting annual KPIs.

  • Evaluate, track and optimise campaign performance to deliver specific and effective results and amend plans accordingly to meet KPI’s and ROI targets 

  • With HO team leads, establish the KPIs for the coming fiscal year, delivering strategically-relevant data to drive decision making.

  • Lead and motivate direct reports for effective, measurable, results-driven earned and paid social marketing programs that meet program-specific and market KPIs. 

  • Enhance existing programs and develop new ideas by applying a keen understanding of consumer trends, competition monitoring and intelligence gathering.

  • Take the lead on budget control, and ensure a year-long, smooth process.

  • Review all integrated Budget Plans prior to submission for clear planning, regular review of spending allocations and accurate spending vs. planned.

  • Work closely with Sr Manager, Finance & Admin on recommendation for approval for fund movement at RE and LE time periods.

  • Proactively identify opportunities and business challenges; develop recommendation, drive analysis, and deliver comprehensive proposals, whether internal or from third parties.

  • Carefully monitor tender processes for full strategic delivery and full FPP compliance.

  • Negotiate contracts, media partnerships and marketing services agreements with venues, third-party vendors, talent, production companies, influencers/KOLs, agencies of record, and others as they arise.

  • Ensure brand safety and vendor compliance with all data privacy regulations.

  • As part of the regional management team, contribute to the development of the annual business plan.
     

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher with minimum 10 years of ad agency or client-side integrated marketing experience with well-rounded traditional and digital/social marketing skills.  
  • Ability to lead and inspire the team

  • Possesses highly strategic skills that ensure strategy comes first and that all programs must adhere to the strategy

  • Highly proactive/creative mindset that is: 1) always searching for innovative big ideas, and 2) always ahead of the curve on all projects and establishes detailed timelines to do so well in advance of project development

  • Ability to collaborate with and influence diverse international and multi-cultural internal business teams.

  • Superb Management skills: planning, prioritization, objective setting, time management and plan delivery

  • Ability to critically assess issues, champion ideas, make decisions and achieve results

  • Passion, energy and creativity

  • Willingness to travel
     

LOCATION:

  • The position is located in our Sydney Office.
  • We do not offer moving allowances from other cities.
