HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Plan and implement cost effective promotions to meet marketing objectives

  • Orchestrate segment and market specific marketing campaigns using a mix of different tools: trade shows, road shows, functions, fam, advertising, direct mail, public relations, loyalty programmes, promotional materials, web marketing, etc to generate interest in HK

  • Support MICE teams and liaise with appointed agencies in the development of marketing materials, media plans and platforms

  • Monitor team-related KPIs e.g. advertising and online impressions, marketing program targets to ensure targets be met

  • Assist in coordinating input from MICE teams and provide materials to Corporate Affairs and contribute to building up of HKTB corporate image and to address overseas enquiries

  • Liaise with related departments to maintain MEHK website as communication and servicing platform.

  • Undertake any other duties/special assignments/projects as directed
     

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University graduate with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing and /or public relations, preferably in tourism industry
  • Strong linguistic skills in English, Chinese and preferably Putonghua

  • Experience in handling media enquiries and publicity

  • Good marketing sense.  Competent with different marketing tools especially online promotion and social media in the B2B context

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to liaise with various internal departments and overseas offices

  • Strong interpersonal skills in working with service suppliers and media

  • Willingness to travel overseas

  • Able to cooperate with colleagues from different culture

  • Strong organizational ability, and able to work independently /under pressure and exercise and good judgments.
