Senior Manager, Internal Audit

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
- Assist the Head of Internal Audit to formulate Internal Audit strategy of the HKTB.
- Participate in the development of risk-based audit plan for consideration of the Head of Internal Audit.
- Plan audit tasks and design audit programmes to perform audits on operations / activities to form opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, and the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in resources deployment.
- Manage the control self-assessment exercise of the organisation and resolve identified issues with the Divisions / Worldwide Offices.
- Highlight audit findings and propose practical recommendations in the form of audit report for consideration by the Head of Internal Audit. Collaborate and agree with auditees for remedial actions.
- Perform ad hoc reviews and provide consultancy services as requested by Management to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency.
- Provide day-to-day administration support for the smooth-running of the Internal Audit Division and the Audit Committee.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- University graduate in Accounting or related disciplines.
- Qualified Accountant or equivalent.
- Minimum ten years’ external / internal audit experience in sizeable organisations with four years of post-qualification experience.
- Internal audit experience in government sub-vented organisations is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical mind to identify causes of problem and propose practical solutions.
- Sound communication skill with different levels of management and staff.
- Ability to perform audit assignments independently.
- Experience in COSO based audit, overseas offices audit, IT audit would be an added advantage.
