Senior Manager, Digital Marketing (Website Content Editorial)

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Website Content Strategy: Be visionary and hands-on to develop, execute, and manage the strategic content direction for the official website DiscoverHongKong.com, aligning with Hong Kong Tourism Board's overall digital marketing strategy and objectives.
  • Content Management & Quality Control: Supervise creation, maintenance, and periodic updating of website content to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with HKTB’s brand's style and tone.
  • Partnership Management: Collaborate and forge robust relationships with internal marketing and product teams, as well as external content partners and agencies, to create, plan, and promote content for the website. This role requires adept management of relationships and alignment of objectives with external partners.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that website content consistently reflects the brand guidelines and house style. Make strategic decisions in partnership with internal teams and external partners to optimize user experience.
  • Leadership & Innovation: Foster a culture of creativity and innovation by leading and mentoring the website content team.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant editorial and content development experience is preferred
  • Mastery over a variety of bilingual editorial functions, such as proofreading, sub-editing, and original content creation.
  • Excellent proficiency in written English and Chinese
  • Deep understanding of content consumption and interaction patterns on digital channels
  • Demonstrable success in creating diverse digital content types, including web pages and campaign-specific content.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and building relationships.
