Senior Manager, Digital Marketing (South Asia and Middle East Markets)

Location: Hong Kong

  • Based in Hong Kong, you will support Director of the team to plan and execute digital marketing strategies and initiatives of South Asia and Middle East (SAME) markets
  • Maintain effective control of digital & social marketing budgets, constantly be abreast of and review the digital & social landscape to sharpen the marketing strategies and plans in place
  • Devise and execute promotion campaigns in responsible markets leveraging mega events and key happenings in Hong Kong
  • Spearhead innovation to cut through market clutter, drive reach, visibility, and engagement to maximize effectiveness and cost efficiencies
  • Solicit impactful regional & in-market brand partnerships, alliance projects, and content collaborations with new age media and content creators, undertake influencer marketing to reinforce HK’s appeal and to increase our engagement with affluent travellers/ digital natives who draw their travel inspiration through social media
  • Build appealing and compelling content on corporate website to generate more consumer usage and page views of discoverhongkong.com SAME pages (including mobile sites)
  • Oversee in-market social pages and create a sizable fan base (where agreed) and continue to grow the page with consumer engagement programmes


  • University degree holder major in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Marketing Communications and digital marketing related business is preferred
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing in travel, lifestyle and with leading consumer brands
  • Hands-on experience in digital marketing – web, social media, SEO, SEM, content & e-mail marketing, display advertising
  • Highly creative with hands-on experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends)
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English is essential
  • Regional networks and in-market (SAME) experience will be an advantage
