Senior Manager, Communications (Short-haul Markets)

Location: Hong Kong

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • As the PR Manager of designated markets
    • To drive PR programs in short-haul markets, e.g. Japan, Korea, South-east Asia
    • To support the senior management in devising publicity strategies for various events and functions
    • To cultivate closer working relationship with a selective group of foreign correspondents and HK media so as to influence them to produce more positive stories about HK tourism
  • As the Project Manager for the Communications Team
    • To drive cross-market PR projects to support Head Office’s initiatives such as mega events/third party events/new attractions launch
    • To drum up publicity for Hong Kong leveraging regional TV and online media platform
    • To engage stakeholders such as CGs, PR of trade/hotel partners, experts in art/culture/tourism in HK, etc.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University graduate, preferably with a degree in Marketing and Communications, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of public relations, including project management, budgeting, staff management, and crisis management.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to confidently address senior management, conduct negotiations, and build strong relationships.
  • Possess a highly creative mindset, consistently staying up to date with the latest travel trends and Hong Kong's tourism offerings.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills, proficient in identifying and resolving complex operational, organisational, and staff-related issues.
  • Able to multitask effectively and thrive in high-pressure environments.
