Senior Executive, Finance & Administration (Part-time)

Reporting to Senior Manager, Finance & Administration, Americas (who is based in Toronto), you will assist in overseeing the corporate support functions for Los Angeles & New York Offices in overall Finance, Office Administration, HR & IT in accordance with local legislations and corporate compliance guidelines.

  • Finance & Accounting
    • Look after office accounts, and staff & administration budgets and commitments.
    • Plan and manage cash flow, accruals as well as year-end process and documentation.
    • Compile and check all monthly accounting queries as per financial policies and procedures.
    • Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable, such as invoice processing and vetting, data entry, PO & non-PO transactions, and AP reporting.
    • Handle payment requests including staff expense claims in a timely and compliant manner.
    • Process and manage payroll, confidential payroll and personnel files.
  • Office Administration / Human Resources
    • Handle leasing, office insurance, maintenance, purchasing, supplies, publications, collaterals and souvenirs as well as fixed asset inventory control.
    • Administer staff insurance benefit program, pension plan, leave schedules and fam trips with the approval from the direct supervisor.
    • Provide logistical support for any necessary recruitment activities.
    • Stay abreast with changes in current employment and fiscal legislations, ensuring HKTB is acting within the local law and recommending action when necessary.
  • Information Technology
    • Manage the office computer network with Direct Supervisor, Head Office IT and local vendor to ensure maximum efficiency and resolve any IT issues.

To undertake any other duties/special assignments as directed by the direct supervisor.



  • University graduate with emphasis in Business Administration and Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years proven finance / accounting and personnel administration experience, with high degree of HR legislation knowledge for the US jurisdictions.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to details, able to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Resourceful, proactive and people-oriented team player, with effective communication skills.
  • Excellent MS Office & Excel skills, proficiency in Oracle NetSuite accounting system advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Chinese language is advantageous.


  • The position is located in our Los Angeles Office.
  • We do not offer moving allowances from other cities.
