Manager, Trade Marketing (Content Development Focus)

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Take the lead to drive the development of effective and powerful marketing collateral and trade promotion materials such as the quarterly ‘PartnerNet News’ to strengthen HKTB’s relationship with various trade partners in support of its market specific objectives. 
  • Render editorial support to the Division by providing a range of services including proofreading, editing, copywriting, original content creation and content vetting. 
  • Support the ongoing development and operation of PartnerNet, HKTB’s B2B trade portal as a one-stop platform to provide trade partners with up-to-date information on Hong Kong as a preferred travel destination,and create business opportunities for them. 
  • Support the revamp of Hong Kong Specialist online training programme to drive usage and facilitate overseas offices to better engage their trade partners via this platform. 
  • Define, plan and develop new features and interactive content on these B2B websites to ensure content is up-todated and new services can be channelled to relevant business partners. 
  • Develop strategies and plan to support the implementation of HKTB large-scale trade shows and promotional events, such as the annual ‘Tourism Overview’, in support of its defined brand essence, and co-ordinate with subunits of Business Development, overseas offices and external vendors to ensure all users requirements, budget and production schedule are met. 
  • Assist in preparing and standardising internal and external communication materials such as circulars, reports, eNews, presentations, etc. 
  • Ensure all procurement and production procedures are cost effective and on par with HKTB’s policies. 
  • Undertake any other duties/ ad-hoc projects as assigned by supervisors. 
     

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University degree holder preferably in the disciplines of Journalism/ Public Relations/ Communications/ English Language/ Translation 
  • A minimum of 8 years of robust experience in marketing communications, content development, website management, and event management. Proficiency in video production is a plus. 
  • A high-calibre professional with exceptional copywriting, copyediting and editing skills with the ability to tailor copy style to fit in different occasions. 
  • Have a proactive, creative and analytical mindset that inspires others and drives the development of high-quality and innovative collateral 
  • Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin 
  • Attentive to details with strong project management skills 
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
