Manager, Marketing Services, MICE (4-month Maternity Cover)

Location: Hong Kong

  • Assist the team to develop and implement marketing, publicity and brand strategies and campaigns to raise Hong Kong’s profile as the preferred MICE destination.

  • Support MEHK teams and liaise with appointed agencies in the development of marketing materials, media plans and platforms.

  • Liaise with IT and related agencies to develop and maintain MEHK website and social media channels as effective communication and servicing platforms.

  • Work closely with internal teams and worldwide offices to provide marketing support for B2B trade marketing activities and promotional campaigns, including trade shows, travel missions, trade seminars, familiarization programs, study missions and other events.

  • Monitor marketing performance, e.g. advertising and online impressions, and marketing program targets.
  • Collect market intelligence and competitor information to identify the latest market trends.
  • Undertake any other duties/special assignments/projects as directed by the Senior Manager, Marketing Services.


  • University degree holder preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related discipline.

  • 5 years’ experience in marketing, PR or traditional & digital marketing and/or advertising, gained in tourism industry / B2B context.  Experience in handling media enquiries and publicity.

  • Demonstrated competence in different marketing tools especially online promotion and social media in the B2B context.

  • Highly organised, and able to work independently / under pressure and exercise good judgments. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, culturally sensitive and able to work with internal stakeholders across levels / departments / geographies, and to mobilize vendors for driving positive results.

  • Creative, supported with excellent presentation skills to articulate ideas in a logical manner and obtain buy-in.

  • Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 

  • Immediate available is preferred.
