Manager, Human Resources (Worldwide Offices Policy and C&B Governance) (2-year Renewable Contract)

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Lead the periodic review and update of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks for Worldwide Offices (WWO) to ensure market alignment, organizational needs, and compliance with local employment legislation. 

  • Keep abreast of market trends and changes in employment legislation in overseas markets and incorporate updates into policies as appropriate. 

  • Formulate, refine, and implement HR policies, guidelines, and practices to ensure consistency in HR processes and enhance operational efficiency. 

  • Oversee C&B including the payroll operations for WWO to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and internal policies, while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.

  • Monitor vendor performance, service commitments, and payment timelines to safeguard effectiveness and service quality. 

  • Coordinate with local Finance and Admin. teams to ensure smooth payroll operations across multiple markets. 

  • Track compensation, taxation implications, benefits, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy. 

  • Manage internal compliance reviews, and drive continuous improvements to ensure integrity, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Provide guidance and support to HR team members on HR policies and compliance-related matters.
     

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Degree holder with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Human Resources Management, preferably with global or regional exposure.

  • Solid experience in HR policy review and HR operations, including compensation & benefits and payroll.

  • Strong knowledge of international labor laws, tax regulations, and HR compliance.

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. 

  • High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
