WHO ARE WE?

At the Hong Kong Tourism Board, we take pride in helping people fall in love with our home, regardless of where they are from. Seizing the opportunity of the opening of Hong Kong tourism doors, we work hard to revitalise and present Hong Kong’s brand-new experiences to welcome back our visitors. We also roll out a global promotional campaign with a view to teaming up with various sectors across the city to drive the full revival of Hong Kong’s tourism together.

As we embark on this ambitious journey, we invite passionate young talents to join our Internship Programme to work alongside industry professionals, while you will be assigned to one of the below functions.

FUNCTIONS

1. Business Development: works with trade partners to enhance visitors' experience, organises events and programmes to connect HK and overseas trades, creates programmes to entice visitors to visit HK, and promotes shops and restaurants
2. Corporate Affairs: engages and cooperates with local and overseas media to generate positive awareness and entice participation in HKTB’s events and corporate initiatives, cultivate the ravishing image of HK through stakeholder management
3. Corporate Services: provides professional financial, procurement, and legal suggestions to business functions to enhance compliance to safeguard
4. Event & Product Development: develops events to strengthen HK's worldwide position, formulates promotion strategies for third parties' mega-events, and formulates and executes the event partnership and sponsorship strategies
5. Human Resources & Administration: supports various functions by recruiting talents, establishing and reviewing policies, managing compensation, benefits and staff performance, formulating staff engagement, learning and development initiatives, and monitoring office administration and facilities maintenance
6. Internal Audit: assures the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, and ascertains overall compliance against established policies and procedures
7. Marketing: formulates and executes brand marketing, digital marketing and content development strategies to promote HK with an enticing brand proposition and ignite interest in every single traveller
8. Mega Events Development & Advancement: serves as the first point of contact for event organisers by offering all-round support from professional advice to coordinating with relevant authorities and event promotion
9. MICE & Cruise: reinforces HK as the world's meeting place and Asia's cruise hub by promoting MICE venues, products and experiences, provides support for trade partners and cruise lines, and promotes regional cooperation
10. Strategic Planning & Insights: formulates business strategies and key business priorities to support management’s decision-making, and leads the budget planning and monitoring process to ensure effective use of resources and identify new opportunities
11. Technology & Digital Transformation: implements and facilitates the flow of information through the company with functions of technology transformation, infrastructure & security, digital transformation, and data strategy

WHAT WE OFFER

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree students in any discipline with less than 1 year of full-time work experience
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Knowledgeable in MS Office applications
• Passionate to develop tourism in Hong Kong
• Having relevant work experience and engagement in extra-curriculum activities is a plus
