Assistant Manager, Trade Marketing (Trade Shows)

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • To contribute to the planning, implementation and evaluation of HKTB local and international trade or consumer shows in support of its defined brand essence and its market specific adaptation. And co-ordinate with sub-units of Business Development, overseas offices and external vendors to ensure all users’ requirements, budget and production schedule are met.
  • To monitor and assist the execution and production of HKSAR Government Promotions worldwide in support of its market specific objectives.

  • To assist in the execution and logistics arrangement of various local and overseas trade events such as the annual Tourism Overview.

  • To handle the production of promotion materials including collaterals, videos and souvenir in a cost-effective manner, and maintain high quality standards.

  • To support the respective overseas offices on the adaptation and implementation of local trade / consumer shows throughout HKTB’s worldwide promotions.

  • To undertake any other duties/special assignments as directed by the Senior Manager, Trade Marketing.
     

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University degree holder in marketing, tourism, business administration or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the organisation and implementation of large scale promotions and events worldwide as well as in Hong Kong.

  • Demonstrated competence in working with advertising agencies, design houses and contractors.

  • Demonstrated relevant technical knowledge in event creation and operation including 2D design and 3D fabrication.

  • Good organisation skills, meticulous attention to details.

  • Good interpersonal skills, able to be in rapport with different level of staff as well as people from different nationalities and cultures.

  • Proficient in written & spoken English and Cantonese. Knowledge of Mandarin and other language is an advantage.

  • Good organisational skills, meticulous attention to details and work beyond normal office hours.
