Assistant Manager, Operations, MICE (2-year Renewable Contract)

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
- Manage end-to-end processes for hospitality support, including communication, application handling, service procurement, stock management, and reporting.
Implement and enhance hospitality programmes for MICE visitors, offering special privileges such as cultural performances, souvenirs, and exclusive offers from trade partners.
Identify and recommend new MICE venues, products, and experiences by collaborating with local and overseas travel trade partners, service providers, and HKTB’s global offices.
Organise familiarisation programmes and study missions to showcase Hong Kong’s strengths as a leading MICE destination.
Support the planning and execution of over 20 annual trade marketing and promotional events, including overseas trade shows, familiarisation trips, seminars, award ceremonies, and other initiatives.
Consolidate and analyse feedback from hospitality programmes, trade promotions and familiarisation programmes to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Maintain strong communication with Hong Kong’s travel trade partners through organised activities and respond to enquiries from overseas partners to support promotional efforts.
Undertake special assignments and other duties as directed by the Manager.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- University holder with preferably minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably in the tourism and travel trade industry
Sound knowledge of Hong Kong and global tourism
Strong communications, presentation and project management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
Responsible, mature and able to work independently
