Assistant Manager, Cruise (2-year Renewable Contract)

Location: Hong Kong

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Coordinate and implement programmes as per the strategic directions to support the growth and development of cruise tourism in Hong Kong and the region.
  • Assist the supervisor(s) to coordinate activities with regional partners, i.e. other NTOs.
  • Assist to cultivate and maintain relationships with local trade for growing the cruise tourism in Hong Kong.
  • Assist the supervisor(s) to drive cooperation with cruise lines and cruise trade partners in joint promotion and marketing campaigns.
  • Handle cruise trade enquiries and provide fulfilment and services.
  • Follow through internal policies and guidelines, and management direction to achieve business objectives.
  • Responsible for administrative assignments to enable a smooth operation of the Cruise team.
  • Undertake any other duties/special assignments as directed by the supervisor(s).

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University graduate with at least 6 years of solid experience in tourism-related industries.

  • Good knowledge of travel industry and tourism products in Hong Kong.

  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills, creative and good in negotiation on collaborations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills. 

  • Strong attention to details and project management skills, able to work under pressure and a good team player with analytical mind.

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin.

  • Proficiency in PC applications – MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese character input method.
