Terms and conditions

  1. Your booking will not be processed until you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions.
  2. The ‘Meet the Locals’ activity (the 'Activity') is for bona fide visitors only who are staying no more than 90 days. Visitors are required to present their passports when they join any of the activities.
  3. Booking is processed on a first-come, first-served basis while places last.
  4. This activity will not operate if Typhoon Cyclone Signal No. 3 or higher, or Red/Black rainstorm warning signal, is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory two hours before the start time.
  5. Information and recommendations provided by the Hong Kong Tourism Board ('HKTB') Hong Kong Pals ('Volunteers') are their individual recommendations based on their experience and knowledge. The Volunteers have made every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information provided for the activity. HKTB accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of such individual recommendations or any fitness for the purpose of third-party products and services, any obsolescence, errors or omissions contained therein.
  6. Successful booking will be confirmed separately. HKTB will notify the relevant Visitors as soon as practicable if the Volunteer appointed for the designated activity is unavailable after confirmation. HKTB assumes no responsibility for any costs, expenses, damages and claims incurred in relation thereto.
  7. Personal information in this form is collected solely for the purpose of booking arrangements of the activity and will be kept by HKTB on a confidential basis. The information gathered will be destroyed or de-identified as necessary after completion of the relevant activity.   8. HKTB has sole discretion to refuse participation in the activity to any person. In the case of disputes, the decision of HKTB shall be final.
