Funded by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency, the "AniCom Sports Park" established on 8 July 2024 at Wanchai Temporary Promenade by the Hong Kong Animation and Comics Federation in, this park celebrates original animation and comics (AniCom) characters created in different periods and presents local comic artists with unique styles. It aims to promote Hong Kong's AniCom culture to local residents and tourists, and provide an additional tourist attraction in Hong Kong. Coinciding with the 2024 Paris Olympics and the 2025 National Games, the design incorporates sports elements into the AniCom characters, adding a dynamic twist.
