Hong Kong Well-wishing Festival 2026

As one of the most iconic Chinese New Year celebration activities in Hong Kong, this festival attracts hundreds of thousands of locals and visitors from all over the world to Lam Tsuen, Tai Po, every year. You can experience the time-honoured traditions of throwing placards onto the wishing tree and lighting wishing lanterns.
