Tsing Yi Tin Hau Celebration

The Tin Hau Festival was inscribed on the fifth national list of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) in 2021. The Tin Hau Celebration of Kwai Tsing Bamboo Theatre Culture Festival features several ICH items, including the bamboo theatre building technique, Cantonese opera, ritual opera celebrating the goddess Tin Hau and flower plaque crafting. There will also be traditional hawker food stands at the celebration. On the third day of the fourth lunar month, there will be dragon, lion and unicorn dance performances and paper floral tributes.
