The Airport Authority Hong Kong has launched a new Refund Application Platform for the air passenger departure tax (APDT) starting from 1 October 2025. Eligible passengers who have paid the APDT at the time of purchasing the air tickets may easily apply for tax refunds by simply uploading supporting documents to the platform. Kwan Tai Temple, Sham Shui Po
Constructed in 1891, Kwan Tai Temple is the only place to worship the god of war and righteousness in Kowloon. This Grade II historic building is a perfect example of traditional Lingnan architecture, complete with stunning features such as a giant bronze bell, crescent blade, and other statues. The temple is open to the public on most days but it becomes a real spectacle on the 24th day of the sixth lunar month, when crowds arrive in droves to celebrate Kwan Tai’s birthday.
