Dive into this time-honoured tradition for a weekend packed with high-octane races, lively festivities and electrifying energy. Cheer on the paddlers as they slice through the waves in colourful boats to the thunderous beat of traditional drums. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete, a passionate fan or simply seeking a thrilling experience – it will get your pulse racing!

  • The area spans from the Tsim Sha Tsui East Promenade, situated outside the Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong, to the Bruce Lee Statue located on the Avenue of Stars.

Enjoy the excitement of the dragon boat races as Hong Kong Television Channel 32 broadcasts exclusively on 7 and 8 June! Watch the action unfold in person at the Tsim Sha Tsui East Promenade or catch it on large LED screens at the race broadcast viewing zone.

‘Panda Friends@Ocean Park Hong Kong’ Festive Photo Spots

The ‘Panda Friends@Ocean Park Hong Kong’ are making a special appearance in Tuen Ng-themed costumes to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival! Join An An, Ke Ke, Ying Ying, Le Le and their adorable twin cubs Jia Jia and De De at the Avenue of Stars for a pandastic celebration! Visitors from around the world are invited to enjoy the festivities and find unique souvenirs at the ‘Panda Friends@Ocean Park Hong Kong’ Pop-up Store.

Teaming up with San Miguel Brewery Hong Kong, the Beer Garden will offer four refreshing varieties of draught beer. Soak up the sun and experience the vibrant atmosphere there, where ice cold beers meet festive cheer! Enjoy the exciting dragon boat races and live music at our chill zone, and don’t forget to capture the festivities at the fun photo spots.

Tourist offers:

​Tourists aged 18 or above can collect a beer voucher* for free at designated locations by presenting valid travel documents. The voucher can be redeemed for a designated draught beer at the Beer Garden.​

'Cirque du Soleil' flash mob performances

The world-renowned ‘Cirque du Soleil’ from Canada will perform flash mob acrobatic acts in Tsim Sha Tsui, celebrating the Sun Life Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races and bringing energy to the heart of the city.
