Commissioned in 1978, Haiphong Road Temporary Cooked Food Hawker Bazaar is a centre for delectable local food, ranging from famous beef balls, pork chops made with a secret recipe, milk tea to Hong Kong-style French toast. In October 2020, the bazaar reopened upon the completion of renovations. It preserves the design of the corrugated metal roof and adopts the dai pai dong style for the interior fittings. It’s furnished with ubiquitous red light shades (commonly known as ‘egg lights’) and big fans that create a nostalgic atmosphere.
