The Airport Authority Hong Kong has launched a new Refund Application Platform for the air passenger departure tax (APDT) starting from 1 October 2025. Eligible passengers who have paid the APDT at the time of purchasing the air tickets may easily apply for tax refunds by simply uploading supporting documents to the platform. In a world where we are always online, yet more alone than ever, where noise and cultural complexity prevail, yet being understood feels out of reach, Strangely Familiar invites us to reflect on coexistence across cultures. Directed by Kuik Swee Boon of Singapore’s T.H.E Dance Company, it unites artists from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Macao to dissolve boundaries between cultures and identities. Using holographic projection and cutting-edge technology, this creation features Hong Kong dance artist Zelia ZZ Tan and challenges our notions of connection. T.H.E Dance Company, known for its distinctive voice, presents its world premiere in Hong Kong.
