Hong Kong Marathon

The Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon, started in 1997, is now a globally recognised event on the running calendar, attracting thousands of local and international runners alike.

The celebrated sporting event grows in popularity every year, now with an allocation of up to 74,000 participants across the various races throughout the day. Taking place in February, the occasion features a full marathon, a half marathon and a 10 km run – including team relays. Competitors past some of the best urban scenery and iconic highlights that Hong Kong has to offer.

The Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon is just as exciting for spectators as it is for runners, with the full marathon starting in the scenic Tsim Sha Tsui area of Kowloon, racing up into the New Territories and heading back down to a spectacular finish in Victoria Park on Hong Kong Island.
