Senior Manager, MICE Planning & Europe Strategies Development

  • MICE Planning
    • To formulate business strategies and work plans for the overall MICE sector with an ultimate goal to reinforce Hong Kong as the preferred MICE destinations in target markets, and to drive MICE visitor arrivals to the city.
    • Support KPIs formulation and performance / ROI monitoring for relevant function teams to facilitate the performance measurement.
    • Coordinate the budgeting process to ensure the resource allocation plans are in line with the overall strategic directions for maximising business results and growth.
    • Conduct market research projects and industry analysis for identification of opportunities, threats and improvement areas.
    • Develop and lead the implementation of CRM and database management to strengthen the B2B marketing and engagement, and generate business leads.
    • Prepare regular reports on KPI progress, budgeting, competitors’ performance review, and other subject matters.
  • Europe Strategies Development
    • Assist the Regional Director to formulate Pan-Europe strategic plans and KPIs for respective key markets, and to supervise local implementation of marketing programmes in driving overnight leisure visitors to Hong Kong from European markets.
    •  Channel Head Office’s strategic directions, best practises and latest market intelligence to Europe Offices.
    •  Integrate and consolidate Pan-Europe budgeting, administrative plans and regular reporting to management.



  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Preferably minimum of 10 years’ relevant working experience, of which at least 5 years in managerial position, and gained from tourism and travel trade industry advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of Hong Kong and global tourism as well as MICE segments.
  • Strong business acumen; agility to understand operations of different functional areas within Marketing / Business Development, and characteristics of different markets.
  • Analytical and well-organised, skilled in planning & project management and able to deliver results under pressure.
  • Team player, yet able to work independently, and with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.  Fluency in Putonghua is a must.
