HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Support Director in leading the establishment of the Central Procurement Department as the centre of excellence to implement central procurement strategies and programmes that improve the organisational value and efficiency.
  • Actively coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand existing procurement operating model and make sound suggestions and execute the transition of current procurement practices, and implement the best practices for procurement on various categories.
  • Propose, organise and work on the design and deployment of end-to-end procurement processes for the organisation from tendering process, to negotiation with suppliers to achieve the most desirable business and contract terms, to contracting process including administration and post-execution.
  • Oversee and lead procurement activities throughout the procurement process, including business requirement, vendor specification, evaluation criteria procurement approach and negotiation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance and monitor supplier performance, including rationalisation of the corporate supplier database and build a robust supplier network.
  • Innovate and develop tools including e-procurement system, to automate, streamline and enhance the procurement function.
  • Ensure compliance with established procurement policies; develop and enhance policies that are focused on value creation and improving efficiency according to business needs without sacrificing control.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University graduate in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Business Administration or related discipline. Holder of CIPS will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in sizable organisations with exposure different parts of end-to-end procurement process.  Candidate with sound profile but less experience will also be considered.
  • Previous procurement experience in IT, Marketing, Corporate Services and/or Facility Management is a plus.
  • Solid experience in using procurement system is required. Experience in SAP Ariba is definitely an advantage.
  • Demonstrated good interpersonal skills in managing different stakeholders. Good presentation, communication and negotiations skills.
  • Highly self-initiatives, problem-solving with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
