Senior Analyst, Consumer Insights (2-year Renewable Contract)

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Support primary research studies
    • Support the team to formulate and drive research projects (quantitative and qualitative) from design, planning to analysis and reporting, for tracking/trending and ad-hoc studies in Hong Kong and other markets.
    • Distill and consolidate insights based on solid facts from research findings, observations on consumers' expressions, market trends, etc.
    • Prepare presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders as and when required.
  • Project management
    • Work with research agencies to set up research projects, and monitor progress to ensure on-time and quality deliverables.
    • Assist to manage tender, procurement, service providers, etc. to ensure compliance of internal policies and on-time, on budget, and quality deliverables.
  • Monitor market intelligence
    • Monitor and analyse market intelligence about consumers’ travel destination preference, decision making process, consumer journey, etc. to stay abreast of the market trend.
    • Conduct desktop research to supplement findings of primary research projects.
  • Knowledge sharing and support the team
    • Share learning and knowledge within the team.
    • Support supervisors on ad-hoc tasks, training, documentation, etc.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Degree holder preferably in Business Administration, Social Science, Psychology, Statistics/Quantitative Analysis, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years hands-on experience working on customised consumer research projects involving different methodologies (quantitative, qualitative, secondary research, etc.) and markets, and managing the projects end-to-end (from proposing research design to developing questionnaire/ discussion guide, and to monitoring projects and delivering insightful analysis (not canned reports/syndicated reports)). 
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills. Be adaptable and flexible in managing projects and stakeholders.
  • A self-starter who is detailed-minded, logical/structured in articulating his/her views and committed to both quality and time. Have the business acumen and motivation to learn.
  • Being able to manage multiple projects/tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Analyst
