Assistant Manager, Marketing Services (2-year Renewal Contract)

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Assist to plan and implement cost-effective marketing, publicity and brand campaigns to raise Hong Kong’s profile as the preferred MICE destination.
  • Develop B2B Marcom assets, e.g. sales collateral, PowerPoint, visuals and videos, trade promotion materials.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of MEHK’s digital channels for communication and servicing, e.g. MEHK website, campaign pages and social media.
  • Monitor marketing performance, e.g. website traffic, social reach, advertising and online impressions, and marketing program targets.
  • Support MEHK teams and liaise with appointed agencies in the development of marketing programs, media plans and platforms.
  • Work closely with internal teams and Worldwide Offices to provide marketing support for B2B trade marketing activities and promotional campaigns, including trade shows, travel missions, trade seminars, familiarization programs, study missions and other events.
  • Collect market intelligence and competitor information to identify the latest market trends.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or related discipline.
  • Preferably at least 6 years’ experience in marketing, digital marketing, social media and/or advertising & production, gained from tourism industry / B2B context. Experience in content marketing and/or multi-media production is a plus.
  • Highly organised, and able to work independently / under pressure and exercise good judgments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, culturally sensitive and able to work with internal stakeholders across levels / departments / geographies, and to mobilize vendors for driving positive results.
  • Creative, supported with excellent presentation skills to articulate ideas in a logical manner and obtain buy-in.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, Chinese including Putonghua.
